I have been a healer for over 25 years, have personally worked with over 9000 clients, and have studied many different therapies in different countries. I have numerous qualifications and certifications in the following therapies – BodyTalk System, Access Bars/Access Consciousness, Reiki, Vibrational Healing, Kinesiology, Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), Intra-focal Therapy / Hypnotherapy, MindScape, Crystal Therapy, Time Line Therapy (TLT), Regression Therapy and Colour Therapy/Chromotherapy. At the beginning of my journey, I would do separate healing sessions and keep the energies apart. For fuller details about each of these therapies, refer to the bottom of the blog.

In recent years, I have come to understand that there is no way I can keep them separate and the energies are integrated fully into my whole being. So when I do a healing session, it facilitates what needs to be addressed and accesses the required healing energies. As part of the treatment, it may recommend doing something specific to re-enforce the healing. The session is interactive and does have clairvoyant elements at times. The sessions are unique and specific to you. I encourage you to record the session with your phone as there is a lot to be gained from listening to the session again and again so the healing can continue.

I use biofeedback mechanisms and will anchor in the healing using tapping, visualization, and deep breathing. I also cross-check throughout the session so that my interpretation is accurately reflected on what needs to be said so your body and mind connect to the messages. It is painless, there are no side effects, and it really works. Sessions are approximately 1 hour however sometimes it may go over that time frame depending on the nature of the health challenge. Like your car, you too need ongoing maintenance and repairs, to counteract the impacts from the environment and the world around you. We have highs and lows emotionally, as well as face the death of loved ones along with physical health conditions.

Access Bars / Access Consciousness

As human beings, we have a tendency to function from our thoughts, feelings and emotions. Bars are about unlocking you from the polarity, blocks and limitations of those feelings, thoughts and emotions. Polarity keeps us from actually seeing things as they are limiting us from changing what we would like. When our Bars are run, it gives us the ability to be present in our lives in every moment without judgement of ourselves or anyone else. It gives you the ability to receive everything, reject nothing, and create whatever you desire in life, more than you have now and more than what you can imagine.

Reiki

Reiki comes from the Japanese words “rei,” meaning universal, and “ki,” meaning life energy. It is a type of energy healing. Energy can get blocked in the body where there has been physical injury or emotional pain and blockages. Over time, these energy blockages can cause illness within the body. Reiki is energy medicine that aims to help the flow of energy and remove blocks in a similar way to acupuncture or acupressure. Improving the flow of energy around the body, can enable relaxation, offer pain relief, speed up healing, and reduce other symptoms of illness.

Vibrational Healing

Vibrational healing is sometimes called energy healing. As a human, you are a living energy field. Your body is composed of energy-producing particles in constant motion. Everything and everyone in the universe, like you, are vibrating and creating energy all the time. During a vibrational healing session, the practitioner seeks to use the vibrational energy generated by you and around your body to optimise your health. The electrical and magnetic energy in the body stimulate chemical processes. There is emerging evidence that these energies can be used to influence health outcomes. Heartbeats, breathing rates, and circadian rhythms are examples of physiological rhythms that we can see, feel, and measure. There are much smaller vibrations happening in your body as inside each one of your cells, molecules vibrate at characteristic rates. These vibrations generate electromagnetic energy waves and researchers have found that vibrations and the electromagnetic energy associated with them cause changes in your cells, which can then affect how your body functions.

Kinesiology

Kinesiology means ‘the study of movement’ and describes a form of therapy that uses muscle monitoring to look at what may be causing ‘imbalances’ in the body and attempts to relieve these imbalances. A practitioner will examine the ‘unresolved stress reactions’ and provide techniques intended to help the body’s natural healing process. Muscle monitoring techniques are used to access information about a person’s well-being and to promote physical, emotional, mental and spiritual health.

Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP

NLP is a method of changing a person’s thoughts and behaviours to help achieve desired outcomes. NLP assists in treating phobias and anxiety disorders and improves workplace performance and/or personal happiness. NLP uses perceptual, behavioural, and communication techniques to make it easier for people to change their thoughts and actions. The practitioner uses various techniques such as anchoring to turn sensory experiences into triggers for certain emotional states; rapport by matching their physical behaviours to improve communication and response through empathy; swish pattern changes that change patterns of behaviour or thought to reach the desired outcome; visual/kinaesthetic dissociation (VKD) by trying to remove negative thoughts and feelings associated with a past event; to name a few.

Intra-focal Therapy / Hypnotherapy

This uses guided relaxation, intense concentration, and focused attention to achieve a heightened state of awareness that is sometimes called a trance, although the person is still awake and aware. The person’s attention is so focused while in this state that anything going on around the person is temporarily blocked out or ignored. In this naturally occurring state, a person may focus their attention on specific thoughts or tasks. It is considered an aid to psychotherapy because the hypnotic state allows people to explore painful thoughts, feelings, and memories they might have hidden from their conscious minds. It also enables people to perceive some things differently, such as blocking an awareness of pain. In this state, it enables the person to be better able to respond to suggestions. So, it can help some people change their behaviours e.g. stop smoking or nail-biting. It can also assist people to change perceptions and sensations and is useful in treating pain.

MindScape

MindScape is a method that teaches a person to tap into faculties of the creative and intuitive mind not normally accessible to our day-to-day life and state of mind. You are able to learn ways of engaging intuition at will and enhancing creative and intuitive abilities. This offers great benefits and opens vast possibilities for every aspect of life or work. The technique is a powerful tool for personal development and opens up interesting possibilities. The method draws on the fact that it is possible to tap into the powerful creative and intuitive faculties of the mind by accessing a mental state based on alpha brainwave activity. The client is led to create a mental framework which effectively serves as an interface for engaging the different intuitive faculties, similar to computer icons that enable the user to engage or switch on different programs. This offers great benefits and opens up possibilities for every aspect of life and work, providing a powerful tool for personal development. Regular practice produces relaxed states and stimulates a process that de-stresses the body and mind. The technique allows insight into a person’s individual process, the workings of the subconscious, conditioning and paradigm limitations and the true nature of what we can achieve. This provides the practical tools for tapping into this potential.

Crystal Therapy

Crystals have different combinations of minerals that help to balance, purify, and realign our bioenergetic systems. They can have a stable and unchanging energy pattern, each with a unique frequency and energy field, or resonance that gives them special properties. They can act like tuning forks helping bring harmony to unstable energy fields of the human body. Crystal healing involves the use of crystal energies to bring balance to an individual’s life and mind. During the healing process, depending on the crystals used, can result in mental well-being including feelings of increased tranquillity, positivity and focus, in addition to enhanced immunity and natural pain relief.

Time Line Therapy (TLT)

TLT is a powerful therapeutic process that has evolved from hypnosis and NLP and was developed by applying a process based on the concept that we store our memories in a linear fashion in an internal memory storage system. The processes and techniques for personal change and growth are facilitated through the elimination of painful emotions attached to memories or events in the past. It focuses on what we can learn from those events and use that to learn for the future. It will enable you to clear limiting beliefs that can leave you stuck in the past and stop you from creating what you want in your life realising that unwanted negative emotions and limiting beliefs influence every area of your lives. One of the many advantages is that it enables you to release and clear gestalts (chains) of an emotion rather than one at a time like most other emotional release techniques. For instance, if you have anger issues, TLT facilitates the releasing and clearing of all anger from the past and not just the anger attached to a particular event. In other words, the emotion is released from its roots.

Regression Therapy

This is an approach that focuses on resolving significant past events believed to be interfering with a person’s present mental and emotional wellness. It is believed that people seeking treatment for phobias, depression, intimacy issues, and a range of other concerns can see improvement in their state of mind by revisiting and reliving the early experiences that influenced the development of these issues. This therapy varies from Hypnosis which enables the mind to travel more easily across the dimension of time whilst Regression Therapy is the process by which the person is guided back through time to events that need to be examined.

Colour Therapy/Chromotherapy

Colour therapy is based on the idea that colour and coloured lights can help treat physical or mental health through subtle changes in our moods and biology. It uses colour to balance the energy centres/chakras of the body by using the seven colours of the light spectrum and aims to balance and enhance our body’s energy which can help to stimulate our own healing process. Each of the seven main colours of the spectrum resonates with one of the main seven chakras, and each of the spectrum colours is light with varying wavelengths, connecting colour with its own energy centre. It is done through the placement of colour silks on the body, directing of coloured light onto the body, using solarized water, meditating and breathing with colour.
